Hi, I’m Rachel.
I grew up on Chicago’s South Side in a single-parent home, where money was always tight and finances were not discussed often. Like many, I left home unprepared taking on student loans, maxing out credit cards, and buying things I couldn’t afford, simply because I left with a map, but some pages were missing.
Everything started to change at 25, when I met a financial advisor.”
My turning point came at 25, when a financial advisor showed me the basics of budgeting and investing. Even then, old habits—and the pressure to fit in—left me with $270,000 in debt by 28, despite “doing everything right.”
Starting over in Dallas, I faced my mistakes, learned everything I could, and rebuilt my future.
I discovered that true wealth begins with mindset, support, and practical, culturally-rooted education.
